.....AND SO DOES THE 23 THINGS!
I had good times & bad with it, I know it was like pulling teeth for some folk.
My weak points were the RSS feeds and the Wikis. I didn't get into del-ic-ious either, but I am willing to go back and revise, and keep plugging away.
I particularly enjoyed Flickr, I use that a lot. I had fun creating this blog and hope to become a more proficient and frequent blogger in future. The "Meez" was cute, and I liked Librarything. I'm sure new web learning tools are generated non stop so I will stay tuned for that. I hope people continue to use their blog, and I would enjoy receiving comments on my posts. Well (y'all) it's been REAL!

Bondra's 500th goal!
Addicted!
OMG I am addicted to "Guess -The -Google" one of the games nominated for the web 2.0 awards. I limited myself to 2 rounds but I will play this at home with the kids and it should be a giggle. I also submited a story in one sentence. it wasn't profound or innovative in any way but I at least wanted to write one. Do you want to hear it? Okay I'll share: (ahem)
I was born on an April morn, grew up in an average
home and have lived an average life.
Now I thought about adding "so far" at the end and that would leave speculation for a sequel wide open, but hey, don't mess with perfection right? (smirk)
So now onto THING 20, one of my favourite wastes of time YOUTUBE!

name the Rivalry contest
Name The Rivalry
This is a contest put on by the L A Kings and Anaheim Ducks. You can come up with a catchy phrase or pun to represent their rivalry, then enter your suggestion on either of the teams' website.
The prize is tickets to 6 games at either venue. Well I live in Southern Maryland so unless they want to fork out plane fair and hotel costs it's really no use to me.
I couldn't resist entering a few suggestions though. They are;
The Crown Bill Derby
The Royal Quack
The Firm
The New Firm
Okay, not great I know, but bare with me. These two teams kicked off the regular season this year with back to back games in London (England) of all places, so I thought the Crown Bill thing had an English connotation. Crown=Queen (or King), Bill-is what they call the police headquarters or the court. Well the Royal Quack kinda speaks for itself, and not very well, but the other suggestion of the "Firm"" or the "New Firm" is quite clever if you know anything at all about British sport, namely soccer.
The fierce rivalry between two Scottish (football) teams; Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers has long been known as "The Old Firm" so how about a new firm in the New World? Cheeky eh? WellI like it. They wont get it and it wont win but I think it's pretty kewel!

Thing 13 I think...
On Friday there was over 10,000, so I guess it's per day.
There is a difference depending what way you search a subject, but I didn't see where to search one of he suggested ways. I did TOPICS & BLOGS. I like it, I will definately use it to stay in tune and in touch with the blogging community.

STALLED
Sorry to say I am still working on week 6 and It has been 3 weeks since my last (confession?) attempt to press on with the THINGS, however I have explored del.ic.ious here we are at the end (almost) of week 9! I find del.ic.ious intriguing. It seems to be user friendly and helpful, however I have decided not to register any more accounts at present, this is what is causing me to STALL!
So my goal this week is to finish week 6, (we're on week 9!) and catch up "furreal" by end of next week ok? So I will explore technorati then complete the rest of the discovery exercise

workin on the THINGS!
Like the fact I can have news feeds sent to me regularly on subjects and topics I follow. Didn't like the fact that i had to create another page to have this, though how else would it work right?
So now I have Yahoo/google username, a Blogger account now a bloglines account and noticed there's a place to sign into Merlin. Well I didn't do that..yet. I used Feedster to find a web site I look at often and subscribed to it. I subscribed to a couple others and had already selected a few from the choices at the start. It's okay, I'm not flipping over it. I usually know what I want to waste, I mean er spend time doing on the web and where to surf.
Anyhoo, I didn't look at Merlin extensively but I will check it regularly, (it's one of my feeds.)
Hope I've added those links properly.
Catcha later if anyone is reading this. NEXT... Chocolate????

Neon Bloom
I cheated!
I looked at my "go to" Gal's entries and followed her links. I found this image on Flickr color selector.
What I wanted to do was take one of my photos and manipulate it using these effects.
Can you do that?
This is a cool pic tho huh?
how do you do it?
I had a body like ths...once
I prefer this to any of my pictures, so I will adopt her as my alter ego.
This is the pic I tried to put on my profile. Got stuck on the part of HELP that said "switch the photo to a HTML post if it isn't already" Don't see where to do that. I'm not a happy blogger right now!

B B L & H steps to Edin Castle
watched the movie "Greyfriar's Bobby" (disney version) and saw these steps as part of the 1858 setting.
The story of Greyfriar's Bobby is a true account of a little Skye Terrier who was loyal to the end, and who changed the old town of Edinburgh for the better.
Here is a link to learn more about "Bobby"

this is supposed to be a link hope it works!

23 things-7 1/2 habits
So, here it is, for what it's worth, my first blog, not exciting, but I hope to learn and grow with experience.
